I believe Christ must be at the center of one’s life and have a Biblical Perspective in order to live an abundant life, a life with purpose, peace, and love. I also I believe that the Bible is the inspired, the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. I currently serve as the Christian Education Director, New Member’s Orientation Director, Deaconess, Co-Chair of the Marriage Ministry. I also practice Premarital and Marriage Counseling. I have been happily married for over 30 years and have two daughters, one son, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

It is with a joyous sprit and a servant’s heart that I serve as the Director of the Children's/Youth Ministry. The ability to witness the children and youth grow spiritually while embracing God’s will for their lives confirms that the ministry is following God’s plan to train up a child the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. The Children’s/Youth Ministry actively engages its participants in a plethora of spiritual events and workshops that allows children and youth to have fun while learning about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have been happily married for 40 years and have one son, two daughters, and one granddaughter.

I believe that it is vitally important to spread the word God to all people on a continuous basis with passion so that others will come to experience the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. It is with great passion and zeal that I serve as the Outreach Ministry director at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. I have been a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church since 1979 and have held several leadership postions such as as an Usher, President of Mission II, and Superintendent of the Sunday School Department. The purpose of the Outreach Ministry is to assume the role of the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in order to share the goodness of God and his word to the members of the community. It is my ultimate hope that by God's grace the Outreach Ministry will have a multi-generational impact within the city of Houston by establishing community partnerships with local food banks and street evangelism teams within the community.
